This is a great solution to installing a pole for our birdhouse. Using the twist assist allows you to set the socket into the ground very easily and after it's in, it is nice and sturdy. It accommodated the one inch pole we had with no issues and the hex bolt secured the pole nicely. Very happy with the performance so far and look forward to buying another to anchor our birdfeeder.
