This is a great bluebird feeder! I bought this bluebird feeder because the one I had before was an open feeder allowing all birds access to it and would be empty 10 minutes after I filled it. Many times the bluebirds would be scared off but not with this feeder. The bluebirds can eat in peace without being bullied! The cage allows them in and out easily without allowing the larger birds in that typically monopolize the feeders. It's a pleasure to watch. Last winter I had 10 in and around the feeder at one time!
